Linda is known for her strong reputation of developing and establishing long term relationships.
Acknowledged as a hardworking and results oriented lobbyist, she has unmatched competence in coordinating and executing successful advocacy campaigns at the grass roots level.
Starting in 1986, in 1992 and 1996, she lobbied to allow Connecticut Optometrists to expand their scope of practice in accordance to their training and licensure. She led a comprehensive marketing program to make it happen.
Linda oversees the operation of a Government Relations and Consulting firm and serves as its lead lobbyist. Linda has policy expertise in a number of fields including education, financial services, telecommunications, marine trades, solid waste management, and ecological issues.
In 1999, Linda was recognized by the Hartford Business Journal as a "Top 40 Under Forty" professional.
The Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association recognized her work in 1997. In 1994, the Connecticut Association of Optometrists gave her the George A. Comstock, O.D., Distinguished Service Award for "unflinching and outstanding service" to the profession of Optometry.
In 2010, the CAO recognized Linda Kowalski "For Twenty-Five Years of Outstanding Service on Behalf of the CAO". In 2011, she received a recognition from the Radiological Society of Connecticut for her work on behalf of the organization.
Linda Kowalski CT has a passion for running and this is reflected in the seven marathons she has completed. These include the Hartford Marathon, the New York City Marathon, the Philadelphia Marathon, the Boston Marathon and the Vermont City Marathon, where she placed third in her age group.
With a B.A. in Government and Economics from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, Linda's educational experience also included internships with Connecticut Attorney General Joseph Lieberman and Connecticut State Senator Michael L. Morano.
Upon graduation, Linda secured a position as a government relations consultant. She is a member of the Legislative Committee of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce and the Environmental Policies Council, EPC, of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association.
Over the years, Linda has earned the respect and admiration of her clients. The Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association presented her with an award on September 26, 1997, in "Recognition of Time and Efforts Contributed Towards the Advancement of the Dental Hygiene Profession". In 2010, Linda Kowalski and The Kowalski Group received "The President's Award" from the Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association, CDHA. The Kowalski Group received CDHA’s Merit Award in 2012, "In Recognition of Outstanding Dedication, Service and Participation In Supporting the Connecticut Dental Hygienists Association".
